Meet Sarah Scannell

Everyone knows a real estate agent. Not many of them ran national brands first.

Sarah is a classically trained brand builder, fluent in product, price, place, and promotion. She built her career running that exact playbook at the highest level, sitting across the table from buyers and executives at Fortune 500 companies like Costco, Target, and Walmart, and being personally accountable for the outcome. She managed P&Ls in the hundreds of millions of dollars, built go-to-market strategy and the pricing and growth playbook behind household products, and owned the number when it went up or down. Nearly a decade of that, across both publicly traded and privately held companies such as Reckitt Benckiser, Clif Bar, and The Honest Company, before Sarah ever held a real estate license.

Real estate runs in the family. Sarah's grandfather was a custom home builder, and long before it was her title, she was building her own personal real estate portfolio across multiple states. Flips, renovations, a ground-up custom build, luxury short-term and long-term rentals, and she designed every single one herself. No designer was ever hired. Every finish, every layout decision, every choice that makes a house feel like a home came from her.

That is the instinct Sarah brought with her from corporate, and it is the whole idea behind Design-Led Real Estate. Every home has two or three things that will make the right buyer fall in love. Not everything. Just the two or three that matter. Her job is to find them and build the entire strategy around them.

It also means helping buyers see what a house could become, not just what it looks like today. Sarah isn't a designer for hire. She's a resource. She'll walk a buyer through the potential in a dated kitchen or an awkward layout, point them toward the right trades, and help them get from what they're looking at to what they actually want.

She is relentless about it. She will take a single piece of content through multiple rounds of revisions because the light was not quite right. Most people know when something looks good. Fewer know how to get it there.

That is what design-led means. Not a style. A way of seeing what she is selling.
